Obituary:
Obituary       Mr. Keith Bowe quietly slipped away into a world of peace on Wednesday evening, December 24, 2008 at Virtua Marlton, New Jersey. He was born August 21, 1964 in Trenton, New Jersey. Keith was the fourth son of William and Mary Bowe, Sr. Like most families, children earn a nickname because of something they did or said. Although, he was named at birth without a middle name, he earned several nicknames given by his brothers and sisters Everyone knows Keith loved to eat.   All in love, we gave him names such as “Luther” as in Luther Vandross, Wolly-Gator and Wallace from the old cartoon from back in the day, “Wolly Gator”. He also earned the name “Brown” who is Mr. Brown from Tyler Perry’s famous plays and movie “Meet the Browns”.         Growing up in the Willingboro school system where there were 14 schools and 10 pools, his parents took advantage of the free swimming lessons offered by the township. Although he graduated the swimming class, with his knees buckling with the slightest wind, he was still scared to jump straight off of the diving board and always jumped toward the sidewall of the pool. Needless to say, he did not grow up to be a gold medallist like Michael Phelps. He attended J.C Stuart School Elementary, Memorial Jr. High and went on to graduate from John F. Kennedy High School, 1983 in Willingboro, New Jersey. While in high school he always wanted to be a part of something and decided to become a Volunteer Fireman for Willingboro, Township. In the beginning of his aspiration to become a full-fledged fireman, he began responding to the fire calls by riding his bike to the fires station. When he got his driver’s license, his father told him that his truck is not to be driven by any of us without permission. However, being hard headed and determined to be the dedicated fireman that he was, he decided to drive his fathers truck anyway on several occassions. He thought all was good and until someone at his fathers job told him his truck was at the fire station. Once leaving his future sister-in-law, Kim, in the truck to wait for his return. The truck was there so much they thought his father joined the fire department. End of story!   In the early nineties, he met Diane and they became married June 1, 2001.    While living in Spokane, Washington he had several jobs as a Certified Nurses Assistant. He later moved back to Willingboro in 2004.  Keith is survived by his spouse, Diane of Willingboro, NJ, his daughter Melonie of Lindenwold, his parents William and Mary Bowe, Sr of Willingboro, NJ, his brother William,Jr and wife Tanya of Hanover, IL, his brother Curtis Sr and wife Candace Bowe, of Spokane, WA, his brother Terence Sr and wife Kimberly Bowe, of Waldorf, MD, his sister LaShon Rouse of Mt. Laurel, NJ, his brother Glen and wife Rachel of Camden, NJ, his brother Tyrus and wife Melissa of Willingboro, NJ and a host of nieces and nephews.
